On a scorching Sunday afternoon in April 2016, I was ascending the steep path of a mountain. As I gazed in awe at the enormous, beautiful brown mountains that surrounded me, I wondered, is this real? Do places with such calmness and beauty really exist?
This was my very first trek. It was to the Korigad fort in Maharashtra organized by the TCS Mumbai Maitree Adventure Club where I met many passionate and experienced mountaineers.
Eight years and more than a hundred unique treks later, I started rangersofmountains.com to share my experience and knowledge of hiking, caving, climbing and adventures with fellow nature lovers.
